From the hills of Autun to the mountains of Auvergne, first day on the road

Hello everyone

This time it's for real, we have finally left Autun and we are hitting the road for real!

The van is completely equipped ( almost) and very comfortable. Unfortunately they also took the cat, so I have to share the bed...

No, I'm joking, I love the cat and there is a lot of room for both of us, we are quite small after all!

Today, we have driven south, along the Arroux river and into the land of volcanoes. We are now in Auvergne, to the south of Clermont Ferrand. We are 900 meters high, and the view on the mountains is splendid. I have even found a lovely bunch of daffodils.
