What a beautiful region! Ardèche is a departement in the South East of France. In the North, it is green and looks a little like Morvan. In the South, it is dry, almost arid. It is famous for the Gorges de l'Ardèche, a very beautiful river.
We visited old friends in the central region of Ardèche, to the West of Aubenas.
I love the landscapes here; the mountains are quite dramatic, with cliffs and gorges, there are gorgeous forests of chestnut trees and ashes, and pristine rivers that run everywhere... AND... there a a lot of sheep :)
We had a lot of fun, and didn't do a lot of school work, so we have to catch up now.
The weather was moody, sometimes sunny, sometimes very rainy, and it was often windy.
The water was so beautiful that we took our shoes off, but it was freezing!
I hope you're all well, working hard and being kind to your teachers.
